It’s the last Thursday before the Lent in Catholic Church. Also it’s day of begining the last week of carnival. On that day it’s allowed to gourmandize (eat very very much). Pączki (donuts with marmolade inside and orange skin on the top) and faworki (dry crispy cake in form of a bow) are our traditional dishes. We believe, that eating them this day brings a luck.
